Questions, answered.

Everything you need to know about renting wedding technology from The Wedding Game Factory.

General Questions

What makes The Wedding Game Factory different from other wedding entertainment companies?

We specialize in unique, custom technology experiences that you won't find anywhere else — from personalized arcade games featuring your likeness to audio and video guestbook phones that capture heartfelt messages from your guests. Based in New England, we understand the local wedding market and offer competitive pricing for Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine weddings.

Do you serve weddings outside of New England?

Yes! While we're New England-focused and offer the best pricing for Connecticut and nearby states, we serve weddings nationwide. White glove service is available anywhere in the United States, with pricing based on distance from Connecticut. We also offer flat-packed shipping to any location in the US.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 2-3 months in advance, especially for popular wedding dates. However, we can often accommodate last-minute requests depending on availability. For New England weddings during peak season (May-October), earlier booking is recommended.

Can I rent multiple products for my wedding?

Absolutely! Many couples rent multiple products to create a complete interactive experience. You can combine any of our arcade games with Hear Hear Vintage or Modern, or mix and match. We offer package pricing and can coordinate delivery and setup for multiple products.

Can I use your products at a non-wedding event?

Absolutely! Our products work great for corporate events, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, retirement parties, and more. The customization and outgoing messages can be tailored for any occasion.

Can I reschedule if my event date changes?

Yes! There's no cost to reschedule as long as we haven't already shipped the hardware and your new date is available.

Pricing & Payment

How much does wedding technology rental cost?

Pricing varies by product and location. Honeymoon Hustle rental is $2,950, Ring Run is $1,950, and Hear Hear (Vintage or Modern) starts at $150. Shipping and white glove service costs vary by location. Use our pricing estimator to get an instant quote for your specific needs.

What payment methods do you accept?

We require a 30% deposit to secure your booking, with the balance due two weeks before your event date. We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and checks. Payment plans can be arranged for larger orders.

What is the security deposit for?

A security deposit is required to cover any potential damage or loss. The deposit amount varies by product and is fully refundable upon return of equipment in good condition. Purchased items do not require a security deposit.

What is your cancellation policy?

Deposits are 100% refundable if cancelled 30 days before the event. There is a 15% late cancellation charge for cancellations between 30 days and when the rental ships. Deliveries that cannot be delivered or are rejected will be subject to a 50% cancellation charge. We understand that wedding plans can change, so please contact us as soon as possible if you need to adjust your booking.

Do you offer discounts for New England weddings?

Yes! White glove service is available exclusively in New England. Pricing is $2,000 for Connecticut, $3,000 for Eastern NY, RI, and MA mainland, and $4,000 for Long Island, Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, and Block Island. Additionally, we offer special pricing for beta products — check our beta products page for details.

Setup & Technical

How long does setup take?

All products are designed for quick setup. Honeymoon Hustle can be assembled in approximately 30 minutes with simple hand tools. Hear Hear requires no assembly at all — just place it on a table and it's ready to go. With white glove service, our team handles all setup and testing, so you don't need to worry about it.

Do I need WiFi for the products to work?

No! All products work completely offline with no WiFi or internet connection needed. Everything is stored locally on the device and delivered to you after the event.

What are the power requirements?

Honeymoon Hustle requires a standard 110V electrical outlet. The Hear Hear Vintage box also needs an outlet. The Hear Hear Modern is completely battery powered — no outlet needed. We recommend having outlets within 10 feet of where the products will be placed. If your venue has specific power limitations, let us know during booking and we can discuss solutions.

How much space do I need?

Honeymoon Hustle requires approximately 3 feet by 3 feet of floor space for the full-height arcade cabinet. Hear Hear just needs a small table or surface. All products are designed to fit in standard wedding venues. If you're concerned about space, contact us and we can discuss your specific venue layout.

Can products be used outdoors?

Our products work both indoors and outdoors, and we do allow outdoor use. That said, most products can be damaged by rain or wet ground, so we recommend using them indoors or under cover whenever possible. If you're planning an outdoor setup, just make sure the products are protected from moisture.

What if something breaks or malfunctions during the event?

We offer free tech support and our team will do whatever we can to help troubleshoot and fix the problem remotely. If you've paid for white glove service, our team will take care of everything on-site — we even bring backup hardware so we can replace a unit if needed.

Do you provide signage or instructions for guests?

We include a simple instruction card with every rental. That said, most couples prefer to create their own custom signage that matches their wedding decor and theme.

Hear Hear

How long can each guest record?

Each message can be up to 5 minutes long. That's plenty of time for guests to share a heartfelt story, a piece of advice, or a funny memory.

How many messages can the phone hold?

The phone can record a total of 5 hours of messages — more than enough for every guest at your wedding to leave a long, heartfelt message.

How do I set up my outgoing message?

When you receive the phone, you'll go through a simple setup process that includes recording your outgoing message directly on the device. If you prefer, you can also send us a pre-recorded message and we'll set it up for you.

How long after the wedding will I receive my recordings?

Once you send the phone back to us, you will receive your recordings within 5 business days.

What's the battery life on the Modern Hear Hear?

The Modern Hear Hear battery lasts approximately 10 hours on a full charge — more than enough for an entire wedding day. It arrives fully charged and ready to go.

If I'm bringing my own phone, can I connect two for 2 phone pairing?

Yes! The Vintage box has two phone jacks built in — just plug in both phones and they'll record together. No splitter or extra hardware needed.

Honeymoon Hustle

How does Honeymoon Hustle customization work?

We'll work with you to create a fully personalized arcade game experience. You'll provide photos of yourselves, and we'll create custom character sprites, an intro screen featuring your likeness, and personalized game elements. The customization process typically takes 2-3 weeks, so we recommend booking early. All customization is included in the rental or purchase price.

Can I purchase a game instead of renting?

Yes — purchase options are available, primarily aimed at wedding vendors (DJs, planners, photographers) who want to offer arcade games as a recurring revenue stream. See vendor purchasing options →

Shipping & White Glove Service

How is shipping calculated?

Shipping is calculated per product and includes both delivery to your venue and return shipping. Base shipping is $400 per product. Medium distances add $50 per item, and long distances add $100 per item. New England locations typically fall into the base or medium distance categories, keeping costs lower. Shipping is calculated separately.

What is white glove service?

White glove service means our team handles everything: delivery, complete setup and testing, return pickup, and handling. We'll set up the day before or morning of your event and tear down the day after. Available in three tiers: Connecticut ($2,000), Eastern NY / RI / MA mainland ($3,000), and Long Island / Cape Cod / Martha's Vineyard / Nantucket / Block Island ($4,000). Pricing increases by $500 per additional device beyond the first.

When will products arrive at my venue?

For standard shipping, products are shipped one week before your event date and arrive 2-3 days before your event, giving you time for setup. With white glove service, our team delivers and sets up the day before or morning of your event. Return shipping is scheduled within 5 days after your event date.

Do you deliver to wedding venues in New England?

Absolutely! We're New England-focused and regularly serve venues throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. We're familiar with many local venues and can coordinate directly with your venue coordinator. White glove service is especially convenient for New England weddings with our competitive local pricing.

How do I return the rental after my event?

Simply pack the hardware back in the original packaging and attach the prepaid return label included in your box. Please return within 3 days of the end of your event.
